Halfdan Harring is a Danish indie developer from Aarhus who designs, codes and ships his games completely solo.
Halfdan Harring is an indie game developer and self-taught full-stack developer from Aarhus, Denmark. Under the label Games by Harring he builds every game alone — concept, engineering, art direction and launch. His released titles include the physics arcade game Dolphin Beyond, the football prediction game HeadToHead and the trivia battler Quiz Fight, all live on the App Store, with several more games in open development.
Halfdan Harring is a Danish indie game developer and full-stack developer based in Aarhus. Self-taught — via freeCodeCamp, MDN and years of shipping real products — he runs a one-person operation spanning client work (JegUdvikler), his own apps (AppsMedHalfdan), public speaking (ForedragMedHalfdan) and games under the Games by Harring label. His games are built web-first in TypeScript and React, wrapped natively with Capacitor, and often push into custom territory: a deterministic physics engine with replay-verified anti-cheat leaderboards for Dolphin Beyond, real-time multiplayer trivia for Quiz Fight backed by 500,000+ AI-generated questions, and native GPS tracking plugins for the upcoming running game Runish. He documents the whole process in his public devlog at gamesbyharring.com.
